Equalook (the «Tool» below) has no signup or login, and the operator does not collect information that identifies users.
1. We do not receive your screenshots or the text and photos you add
Screenshots you add, numbers measured with the bookmarklet, and your text and photos are processed only in this window's memory in your browser, and are not sent or stored anywhere, including to the operator. They disappear when you close the window. The only things sent as feedback after a download are the numbers, values and the one line you write yourself, described in Section 2-1.
The Tool runs inside a sandboxed frame isolated from the rest of this site. Because of this, no script on this page, including ad scripts, can read the screenshot inside the frame. We do not perform text recognition (OCR).
The «Equalook Measure» bookmarklet measures only numbers such as position, size, count and color on the page you opened in your own browser, puts them in the part of this site's address after #, and opens it in a new tab. Browsers do not send the part after # to the server, and the Tool removes it from the address bar as soon as it receives it. The page's text, images, logos and address are not passed on, and the page's address (Referer) is not left in the new tab. Only when you confirm «My Site» in the Tool does the bookmarklet move that page's text and images from the tab where you clicked it into this window, and even then nothing is sent or stored anywhere, including to the operator. Pages measured with the extension do not have this feature.
While measuring, the bookmarklet briefly hides that page's notice pop-ups, cookie banners and chat buttons, and restores them when measuring is done. It does not change that page's settings or cookies. When measuring is finished, it opens this site's Tool in a new tab.
The «Equalook Measure» extension (desktop Chrome · Edge) does the same job as the bookmarklet above. It measures once, only in the tab where you click the toolbar icon (its permissions are just two: «active tab» and «scripting»), and opens the measured numbers in a new tab the same way (the part after #). To also measure motion, it replays the first screen's entrance animations once, scrolls the page to the end once (up to 30 seconds), and then returns to where you were. It does not change that page's content or settings. The extension does not look at your browsing history or other tabs, and does not send or store the measured numbers anywhere.
2. Information the operator receives

No other information is received. Supporter names are listed on the support page only for those who said it is okay.
2-1. Feedback (a quick word after download)
After a download («Export»), the free Tool shows a small bar for 👍 · 👎 and picking what fell short. It is used only to improve the Tool and decide which features to build first. No information that identifies who sent it is received.

Screenshots you added, screen images, text and photos you added, and source addresses are not sent. Your connection address (IP) is not stored; only to prevent too many submissions from one place, it is converted into a value that changes daily and cannot be reversed, counted, and deleted within two days. Feedback does not use cookies.
Do not write personal information such as a name, contact details or address in the one line. The Tool removes anything shaped like an email, web address or phone number before sending, and the receiving server also clears that field if any such pattern remains.
3. Ads and cookies
Google ads (AdSense) may appear on this site's front page and on both sides of the Tool page. On pages with ads, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads, and may show personalized ads based on visits to this site and other sites. Google receives and processes that information directly; it does not come to the operator.

- Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland see a Google-certified consent dialog before ad cookies are used. Ads are not turned on at all until the consent dialog is ready.
The operator itself does not use cookies. The Tool stores only the style level you chose, slider values, layout edits, a mark that you completed the rights check, a mark that you closed the post-download guide bar, and a mark that you saw the first-time walkthrough, in this browser's storage (localStorage · sessionStorage). These values do not go to the operator and can be cleared in your browser settings.
4. Support
Support is received and processed by the donation platform or bank, and payment information follows that party's privacy policy. The operator does not receive payment method information.
5. Processors · information transferred abroad
The companies below process information on their own servers (outside Korea). Information is transferred directly over the internet when a user opens the site, sends feedback, sends an email or makes a donation.

Information on pages with ads is received directly by Google, as described in Section 3.
6. When and how we delete
Once the periods in Sections 2 and 2-1 have passed, information is deleted without delay. Emails and record files are deleted so they cannot be recovered, and nothing is kept on paper. Records that laws require to be kept are stored separately from other records and deleted when that period ends.
7. How we protect information · children under 14
Information the operator receives (inquiry emails · support records) is kept only in the operator's accounts, viewable by no one but the operator, and those accounts use two-factor authentication.
The Tool has no signup, so it does not ask your age. Children under 14 need the consent of a legal guardian to make an inquiry or donate, and if the operator learns it has received such information, it deletes it immediately.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your own information held by the operator (inquiry emails · support records). If you request this through the contact above, we will handle it within 10 days and let you know the result. Records that laws require to be kept cannot be deleted during that period. Feedback (Section 2-1) cannot be shown per person because we cannot tell who sent it, but if you wrote personal information in the one line, tell us the date you sent it and the text, and we will find and delete it.

10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post a notice on this page 7 days before it takes effect, and changes that increase the information we receive will be announced 30 days before they take effect.
